The World Goes Round

By Lou HarryIndianapolis Business Journal

Back-to-back, powerful takes on a pair of lost-love songs, "I Don't Remember You" and "Sometimes a Day Goes By," (two of K&E's best, from the shows "The Happy Times" and "Woman of the Year," respectively ) are hit out of the park by the operatic Duane McDevitt and the vocally-strong Bradley Reynolds.

The World Goes Round

Bradley Reynolds made me laugh out loud as he sang about being in love with "Sara Lee"... the coffee cake maker!

I could hardly believe my eyes when Reynolds and McDevitt started to actually roller skate during "The Rink." They were joined by the women and then all five of them whizzed fearlessly in a chain around and around on the stage as they sang! I am laughing again, remembering. It was great.

Kander's personality seems "reserved," according to Bradley Reynolds, a cast member in "The World Goes 'Round," and a sometime theatrical producer who met the composer at his home.

"In show business, you don't meet many shy people," Reynolds said, "and I don't want to say he's shy, but he's reserved. We met at his beautiful brownstone home on the Upper East Side."

A&E: Lingering effects: The year’s best A&E

By Lou HarryIndianapolis Business Journal
December 29th, 2007

Since I just reviewed [A Year with Frog and Toad] in last week’s IBJ, it feels a little redundant to say it again, but I will: Actors Theatre of Indiana’s production of this amphibious friendship saga was a gentle gift to Indy audiences. And “Alone” [sung by Frog—Bradley Reynolds] was one of the year’s most magical musical moments. Sweet.

A&E: Actors Theatre of Indiana Goes Green

“I’m honestly getting choked up here thinking about the moment when Frog (the bright Bradley Reynolds) has to explain to Toad (an eminently huggable Don Farrell) why he occasionally needs to go off into the woods by himself. “This morning I woke up and thought, ‘I am happy,’” sings Frog. “It’s been since April since I have been sad. I’ll go be alone to think how I’m happy. For all that I have, and all that I’ve had.”

Bradley Reynolds Is Back Home Again

December, 2007

“Don, Judy and Cindy have invited me to my hometown to perform. It doesn’t get much better than that. So many friends have attended the shows to support me and ATI. The support has been absolutely amazing. I have been gone from Speedway since 1980 and it is touching and very humbling to find out that although I have been away for so long, I continue to receive such strong support from the Speedway community. I have so enjoyed rekindling old friendships and catching up with friends that in some cases I have not seen in years,” Reynolds says.

Cat Earns Stripes in ‘Seussical’ Musical

By Trish CofiellDelco Times

Speaking of the cat, Bradley Reynolds is hilarious and captivating as that troublesome Cat. It was almost as if Paul Lynde, the snide comic who mastered the center square on "Hollywood Squares," was reincarnated on stage.

Reynolds’ wacky facial expressions, lithe dance moves, shoulder shrugs, broad gestures, verbal barbs and audience interaction all elevate the show ..steal the show ..and make the show just plain funny.

Most important, Reynolds is articulate, and as the show’s tour guide, it’s vital that you can follow his rhyming discourse.
